Picking Station

The management of complex orders passes through the precision of the picking.

Help operators carry out their duties, using visual aid systems to improve performance, reduce errors, and speed up the logistics chain.

This is why the picking station can be useful in the preparation of multiple orders with different recipients or in the management of numerous orders, particularly those consisting of a few pieces or units.

Working with the Modula Picking Station, based on the “goods-to-man” principle, makes the product picking process (especially those with low turnover) much faster and more efficient. Depending on the item being picked, the station location is illuminated with a colored light to guide the employee on where to deposit the order taken from the Modula.

How does the Picking Station work? How to handle many orders?

A practical solution for preparing multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring the correct items are placed in the right containers. Operators confirm each picking task using a button, which communicates the quantities and locations to the system.

Once the product is placed into the container, the operator confirms the action by pressing the button corresponding to the order.

The ergonomic Picking Station is specifically designed to simplify this task, making picking straightforward and efficient. Its modular design allows for scalability over time and typically includes a computer connected to the Modula WMS software.

How is the Picking Station made up?

The Picking Station is built with a robust painted steel structure. It features shelves for supporting containers and a series of Put to Light displays with a corresponding controller and power supply. Modules can be combined to expand the system for handling a higher volume of orders simultaneously.
