Picking Cart
The Picking Cart builds on the Put to Light concept, using visual aids to guide operators during order preparation while introducing mobility for added operational flexibility.
Equipped with wheels, the Picking Cart can be moved across various facilities or different parts of the warehouse. This makes it particularly useful for preparing orders that require items from multiple departments or locations.
The complete and modular mobile picking station
The Picking Cart is an ideal solution:
- When the items to be picked are small and easily transportable
- When numerous orders involve the same item
On the shelves dedicated to the order boxes, the preparation displays light up to guide the operator through the process.
The Picking Cart system is integrated with the Modula WMS software. For scenarios where multiple orders need to be executed simultaneously, the Picking Cart can be moved either manually or automatically using Mobile Autonomous Robots.
How does the Picking Cart work?
- Base with a painted steel trolley equipped with four pivoting wheels
- Shelves for container support
- Put to Light display with a corresponding controller
